Admission in B.Tech, Integrated M.Tech or B.Tech-M.Tech

JEE Advanced 2018 Counselling is likely to start from 19th June 2018 in online mode. This year IIT, Kanpur is responsible to conduct the exam and counselling of JEE Advanced 2018. Through JEE Advanced 2018, qualified candidates get admission in B.Tech, Integrated M.Tech or B.Tech-M.Tech Dual Degree programmes offered by IITs & ISM, Dhanbad. To appear in the JEE Advanced Exam 2018, students, at first, need to qualify JEE Main 2018 exam. Only top 2,20,000 scorers of JEE Main exam 2018 qualified candidates will be able to appear in this JEE Advanced exam. Documents Required at the time of Reporting:

Candidates need to bring the below-mentioned documents at the allotted reporting centre for the verification process. Candidates must bring their original documents along with a set of self-attested photocopies. After verification, original documents will be returned to candidates. Documents to be carried are enlisted below.

  • 10th class certificate and mark sheet.
  • Seat acceptance fee payment proof
  • Provisional seat allotment letter
  • 12th class certificate and mark sheet
  • Photo ID card (issued by govt. agency/last attended school/ XII class admit card)
  • JEE Advanced 2018 admit card
  • Category certificate (if applicable).
  • Category certificate (if applicable).
  • Medical certificate

JEE Advanced 2018 Counselling Procedure

Candidates who appeared in JEE Advanced 2018 Exam need to follow the below-given steps in order to participate in the JEE Advanced 2018 Counselling procedure. Candidate must qualify the JEE Advanced 2018 in order to appear for counselling.

 

Registration

Firstly, candidates have to register online in order to participate in the counselling process. Candidates have to fill registration details like state code of eligibility, gender and nationality etc. No fee will be charged for registration & choice filling.

 

Choice Filling & Locking:

The next step after registration is choice filling & locking. Candidates are required to log in using their JEE Advanced 2018 roll number & password. Fill the maximum choices as per preference for seat allocation. Candidates should lock their choices opted after the choice filling process.

 

Seat Acceptance:

Candidates have to pay Rs. 20,000 for reserved categories and Rs. 45,000 for general candidates as a seat acceptance fee. The fee can be paid through SBI Bank Net Banking & e-challan. Candidates must take the printout of the fee payment slip for further reference.

 

Reporting to the Allotted Centre:

After successful payment of seat acceptance fee, students have to report to the allotted centre for document verification. Seat confirmation will be done by the reporting centre after the verification
